Look at these forwards.

Boyle - cannot score
Asham - cannot score
D. Moore - cannot score
Dorsett - cannot score
Hags - 1 goal in 16 games
Brassard - 2 goals in 17 games

That's HALF our forwards. It is really a joke how awful we are up front. Once again I would like to thank Mr. Sather for doing his very best in putting this team together. Hats off fella.

Nash is the only guy who scores really. Amazing how quickly the wheels came off.

And now that Cally has a knee sprain, which means he will miss at least a week or two, add Pyatt or Pouliot to that forward list as well. 7 of 12 forwards cannot score now...LOL.

What a disaster season this has been for Cally. Hurt every 2 weeks. On the plus side that SHOULD keep his cap hit in the 4 mill's per season on his new deal this summer. So that's a plus for us, and gives us more of that 37.5 mill to spend on other players this summer. This team will be WAY different next season. Maybe 4 or 5 new forwards.

As a side note, how awful is NY sports right now.

Isles - terrible.
Rangers - terrible.
Devs - bad.
Knicks - terrible.
Nets - terrible.
Giants - terrible.
Jets - terrible.
Yanks - missed playoffs.
Mets - bad.

Amazing...

I'll say this about Brassard, he actually has a decent shot. He just doesn't get himself into good position to take it often enough, and he doesn't shoot often enough.

And when I have been saying for a year that NY pro sports teams suck BIG TIME,
I'm told to stuff it. Well, it looks like someone else sees these teams for what they are.
It sure looks like a big pile of crapola. LOL

AV was asked during the postgame if this current roster allows him to play the style of hockey he would like to ideally coach and after careful hesitation not to throw Sather under the bus he simply said that as head coach it's his job to make do with what he's given - nonsense. Glen still selects players like he's with Edmonton, I don't think he's aware that most hockey players are over 6' tall and 210 lbs.

When half your forwards have no scoring ability at all, what can you do I guess. Is what it is. The positive is we have a ton of cap space this summer, so this team will be WAY different next season. Issue...can Sather build it the right way.
