They were both still the starting QB though. They're talking about having Tebow do punt return coverage.

This wasn't a surprise -- the Jets told Tebow two months ago they plan to use him on special teams -- but it still was an odd sight. Tebow, wearing a red quarterback jersey, sprinted downfield, looking to make a "tackle" in the non-contact drills.

I thought he was told that he would be on special teams and then used at multiple positions to add another veriable teams have to prepare for.
