This is kind of happening in real life in LA right now.

Some ex-police officer feels he was fired/disgraced/targeted after reporting excessive force about a cop. in other words, he "broke the rules".

Anyway, he killed the daughter of one of the cops and her boyfriend + another cop and he basically has a hitlist. Has sniper training and wrote an online manifesto:

This morning, some dumbass cops mistook two ladies for this 270lb black dude and started shooting away. :confused:

in any case, I'm more of the camp that the cops are corrupt assholes. not saying its good he's killing people off, but he probably broke.

They were reporting on TV here in San Diego this morning that the guy may have tried to steal a boat. A guy fitting the killer's description robbed a guy living on his boat and tried to steal the boat but ended up running off. The description matches, as I said. They also found some of his belongings in Naitonal City, and they said they found an LA police badge nearby as well.

This guy was fired for reporting police brutality at the hands of the LAPD. Thinking they probably did collude to fire and make his life hell and he snapped.

I read he was fired for making false claims about his training officer. Was that in regards to police brutality?

In 8/07 I reported an officer (Ofcr. XXXX/now a Sergeant), for kicking a suspect (excessive force) during a Use of Force while I was assigned as a patrol officer at LAPD’s Harbor Division. While cuffing the suspect, (XXXX), XXXX kicked the suspect twice in the chest and once in the face. The kick to the face left a visible injury on the left cheek below the eye. Unfortunately after reporting it to supervisors and investigated by PSB (internal affairs investigator Det. XXXX), nothing was done. I had broken their supposed “Blue Line”. Unfortunately, It’s not JUST US, it’s JUSTICE!!! In fact, 10 months later on 6/25/08, after already successfully completing probation, acquiring a basic Post Certificate, and Intermediate Post Certificate, I was relieved of duty by the LAPD while assigned to patrol at Southwest division. It is clear as day that the department retaliated toward me for reporting XXXX for kicking Mr. XXXX. The department stated that I had lied and made up the report that XXXX had kicked the suspect. I later went to a Board of Rights (department hearing for decision of continued employment) from 10/08 to 1/09.

Yeah, I just read it all. Jesus this guy is on a mission. I don't buy into most of his threats. He's on the run now, there is no way he's getting to those officers or their families. Probably somewhere in Mexico by now.

Even in the desert I heard about this. And I kept hearing about this "manifesto". So I went to look it up.

(MSM CONSPIRACY THEORY!1!!, if you believe a site called Crime File News)

the major news sites have posted a "redacted" version of his manifesto that they say protects the names of some officers called out. Makes sense. But supposedly an early copy was saved (before the main sites took it down for redacting) that elaborates how he got his guns, his views on gun control and the NRA, his love of MSNBC news, his hatred of Westboro, his admiration of Tebow, Chick-fil-A and Christophe Waltz (like me!) and how Trayvon should've split Zimmerman's skull completely open.

Kind of a fascinating read into a guy. Powerful views all over the map on all kinds of topics. Sucks that he's killing cops.

he was also spotted in downtown LA at the central jail area. place is on lockdown.

Two blue pickups were shot at, two asian ladies got shot, the other truck nobody hurt.

Seems like the cops are scared, told to watch for blue pickup on the radio.

Looks like it was before. Not that it makes it much better. I know the cops are on edge, but it's not like a blue truck is some rare car. Also, I think his truck was supposed to have a roof rack and black rims. That one has neither.

First Confirmed Drone Target on American Soil!

...and the dog and pony show continues, get ready Emurica! Drones killing people in the United States is a real issue, regardless of who they are after. Nothing good can come of this. :sigh:

They believe burly, heavily-armed Christopher Dorner is holed-up in the wilderness of California’s snow-capped San Bernardino mountains 80 miles east of Los Angeles.

The burnt-out shell of his pick-up truck was discovered in the nearby resort of Big Bear, where residents and tourists have been warned to stay indoors as the search continues.

Yesterday, as a task force of 125 officers, some riding Snowcats in the rugged terrain, continued their search, it was revealed that Dorner has become the first human target for remotely-controlled airborne drones on US soil.

A senior police source said: “The thermal imaging cameras the drones use may be our only hope of finding him. On the ground, it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack.”

Asked directly if drones have already been deployed, Riverside Police Chief Sergio Diaz, who is jointly leading the task force, said: “We are using all the tools at our disposal.”

The use of drones was later confirmed by Customs and Border Patrol spokesman Ralph DeSio, who revealed agents have been prepared for Dorner to make a dash for the Mexican border since his rampage began.

He said: “This agency has been at the forefront of domestic use of drones by law enforcement. That’s all I can say at the moment.”

Or how about the fact that the police down there are just opening up on cars without verbal warning or verification that the suspect is in the vehicle?
