Clingan, Avidja, Shaeden, and Scoot are a very intriguing core.

Young, athletic, and huge upside. If I have to watch a complete rebuild, I am OK watching these guys. If they play as they can, it could become something fun and special.

OK, that is all. Carry on.

"Intriguing" yes. Good? Hm. Let's just say if the BPA in the 2025 draft is a point guard...

Have you seen Scoot's stats post-Allstar break? Pretty damn impressive.
That may be very true, but draft best player available. If two players are considered equal, then draft for position.

On top of that, Camara, Rupert, Murray, and (to a lesser extent) Banton are all the kind of versatile, multi-positional, role-playing wings that every team needs to fill out their roster, and are all 24 or younger. It's nice to have not only an intriguing core, but also complementary pieces around them.

Yeah and it seems we've added some good length along the way too. During Dame & CJ's era we were often way under sized across the board.

Regardless of his stats, which I don't really care about for rookies, Scoot made some plays last year that were damn impressive.
Plays that made me say "How the hell did he do that". Granted he made some bad plays that made me say the same, but
he did have some wow moments. So I still have lots of hope for him.

Scoot, Sharpe, klingan, camara, rupert, Deni, Ayton, Murray. All 24 or younger?

If we trade Grant, are we the youngest team in the nba?

I know you're rollin' in that SWIL money!

yeah, you see my album sales lately?
Fyi, two new bands.

King Dozer
Swil drummer with guitar player and bass player from aerosmith tribute band and myself. Most talented band ive ever been a part of. Hands down.
rock of all types. Hard, soft, ballad, edgy, etc.

Purdy Spit.
Three pc with all three singing.
Cross between social distortion and greenday punk rocknroll.

Ayton is 26. But otherwise, pretty darn young.

unlike most others, i think Ayton will be just fine with the younguns and can be part pf the long term plan. Especially with a different styled backup center like kling kong.

I dont know who we could replace Grant with, but i really want to see scoot, sharpe and Deni play with Ayton and see how it gels/flows.

Id keep both Ant and Grant if they would be fine coming off the bench. Especially Ant. He is younger and we need a stud scorer off the bench.

If scoot, shae, walker and klingan respectively pop, we could have a very nice rounded roster.

Scoot
Shae
Deni
Walker
Ayton

???
Ant
Camara
Grant
KlingKong

Obviously, the missing piece there would be Flagg.

Sorry. You are a Blazer fan right? you know we dont get nice toys like that!

I know im in extreme minority, but i think we have zero chance at worst record and no chance for Flagg. I thin we win at least 30 games next year. This is Shae’s year aNd scoot aNd Ayton are gonna gel.

I want you to be wrong but we always end up winning games we shouldn't.

I agree that Ant should come off the bench and I think he would be willing to as long as Scoot shows he is ready. Banton could be the PG or even the PT forward if they wanted to get another guard on the floor with the 2nd unit. (Thybulle or Ruppert? )

As for Grant coming off the bench, I don't see that happening. He either starts or is traded.

Sure--we'll win 30 games and then unexpectedly get the #1 anyway, add Flagg to our stable of youngsters, and the dynasty shall begin.

It is certainly possible. We could keep everyone, be very competitive, win 30+ games, and still end up with the 3rd worst record in the West. Every team in the West should be better. Injuries will be a huge factor as always. Utah and SA are the 2 who I think will be worse if they choose to tank.

The East is a little different. I can see 6 or 7 teams who could be on the same level as us.
