I don't think there's enough space on this forum to list all the mind-numbing rap lyrics actually. I was going to list more after "Jesus Walks," but then I realized that I'd have to basically list off all the songs on my rap playlist.

Anyway, as for the greatest lyric? Hmm... there are really a lot of things that make lyrics great, whether it be their message, their poetic qualities, or something else along those lines. I've always liked this one by Anthony Kiedis just because of how poetic I thought it was -

Now can we all stop the arguing of rap and rock on here? Trust me, I'm not ranking anyone higher than the other. Mamba said rap is full of atrocious lyrics and I'm saying pretty much all genres including rock is full of atrocious lyrics too as evident in the list.
