They make me cry they are so funny.

You didn't have to play each specific game. You just have to have grown up a gamer to understand why this stuff is so goddamned funny.

I've been watching him for a while. He puts out pretty good videos. Brings me back to my childhood playing games like Battletoads and Top Gun.

I didn't write that people wouldn't find it funny, I meant that people who have played these games can relate so much more and find it hilarious. For instance that TMNT game, you have no idea unless you've played the game, trust me. His expressions don't match the torment that game gives you.

BTW Speeds, remember in Battletoads that amazingly irritating stage with the hover craft? I swear that is the most insanely difficult stage in any game ever. You will fail unless you have it totally memorized. Which means you will play through the game multiple times until you have it down.

Same thing with Metroid, damn was that game difficult the first time through. Anyone remember one of Rareware's first offerings, Snake Rattle N' Roll?

Um, that guy is doing a second-rate, less-informed imitation of the Nerd. Since he doesn't know that Super Mario 2 was another game (Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic) that Nintendo altered to make it into a Mario game, this douche gets a "fail".

Ok, you caught me, I couldn't watch more than a few minutes. Big whoop. You wanna fight about it?

Anyways the real appeal of the Nerd's videos is reliving those old NES games, mainly the frustration involved.



The hover level in Battletoads took a while to memorize, as did the snake level, but the one that usually ended my game was the long descent level where you're running from side to side trying to beat that mouse or whatever to the bottom.
