Um, that guy is doing a second-rate, less-informed imitation of the Nerd. Since he doesn't know that Super Mario 2 was another game (Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic) that Nintendo altered to make it into a Mario game, this douche gets a "fail".

Anyways the real appeal of the Nerd's videos is reliving those old NES games, mainly the frustration involved.
The hover level in Battletoads took a while to memorize, as did the snake level, but the one that usually ended my game was the long descent level where you're running from side to side trying to beat that mouse or whatever to the bottom.
