The Blazers injury curse has a very long range

I'm sorry, but I actually chuckled a little bit when I read this.

OF COURSE he has a stress fracture in his foot.

Giggling incessively.... that is too much. Now even our recruits are suffering... LOL

Seriously, if you're a prospect, do you come for a workout? The worst thing that could happen to your career it seems is to be drafted by this team.

The scene from Spartacus, where Quintus is mentioning how the gods spread his cheeks again, only to ram cock up ass, while moving his closed fist in a ramming motion is coming to mind right about now.

lol.. god damn that show rocks.

Shamefully, I did more than chuckle ... people around me in the lab must think I just opened up a really funny e-mail attachment or something.

I wonder how many fans it has hit this year, too. All of us innocently believing our random injuries are just us being out of shape people, but in reality we are simply subjected to the curse as much as the players - but without the beautiful comfort of gobs of money.

That's why Nedzad Sinanovic's agent tried to hide him in the 2nd round!

Question, assuming everyone's healthy, who's favored in a 7-game series? I'd almost take the injured lineup of Roy/Batum/Oden/Przy (toss in Kopo) against Miller/Rudy/Webster/LMA/Camby. :(

It pains me a little inside to think that, out of all of those, Oden's is the LEAST recurring. (Roy: 3 surgeries same meniscus, Batum's recurring labrum issues, Przy's re-rupture of the tendon, the tendency of our guys to re-stress-fracture a foot...)

I tore my Labrum playing basketball, and had to have surgery last month. I think my devotion to Nicolas Batum might be on the verge of becoming unhealthy.

:dunno:

Uh, I'd venture to say that if you've already torn the labrum, you've already crossed the verge into full-blown "unhealthiness". Happy Healing in a Hurry!

How many goats must we sacrifice to lift this biblical curse?

The Cubbies have shown how sacrificing goats doesn't work. I can think of some posters I'd be willing to sacrifice, however.

I think you are on to something. It's our only prayer.
