It's amazing how quickly this place can become unbearable and avoidable! It only took 2 days to turn the whole mood 180 and and become completely negative around here. It's frustrating.
 
Fortunately its still Offseason for me, so havent spent much time in the actual Blazers section.
 
The bullshit will officially be back when we start seeing the word 'checkmate' in every thread.
 
There is bullshit and there is trollshit. Bullshit is OK. Trollshit is really annoying.

I wondered why I was the only chalking out my spot last night for the championship parade.

Honestly I really don't care what the Nancys around here say or think I've had a window seat on the Blazer bandwagon for years.

haha HCP you take homerism to a whole new level...i mean dont get me wrong im sucha homer i think we could win the championship this year but you take it to a whole new level...instead of always calling people on here a bunch of negative bullshitters why dont you come to the realization that not everything in blazerland is all happiness cuz its not....we found out oden is behind schedule after all we heard was that there was no chance he wouldnt be ready. let people have there own opinions about a team that isnt perfect and stop criticizing everyone. instead of making a stupid thread like this why dont you be a trend setter and start a thread about how wesley mathews mom was able to retire...you know like a feel good story?

What I expect is for people to be rational. Its not the end of the world. He has tendonitis from overworking the muscle in his rehab. That means the dude was "trying too hard". Its not a major setback and something that rest will cure. We DO want the guy to be working hard don't we?
 
Is it coincidence that MIXUM makes his return yesterday and in the span of 24 hours, "The bullshit is back!"? I think not. :)

Really though if this is about Greg's injury, don't sweat it HCP. He's going to make his return somewhere between the first 5-10 games, stay relatively healthy and absolutely dominate. And all the detractors can go on back to the Oregonlive forum. >_>

Ha ha ha just wait until the team wins a game. Then the world will be afire with the glory of the Blazers, on the way to a championship with all the future all stars playing on this team! :evilfire:

Nope. They should win by more, Nate sucks, Roy is selfish, Miller can't shoot, Oden is fragile, Aldridge is soft, Nic is being misused, and Camby is AWESOME! Oh, and Outlaw still cost the team more points, whether he is on the team or not.

Most everybody who is a Blazer fans expectations over the last few years have been essentially dashed, and a lot of fans haven't got over it yet, because it may not be over. It's still going on. Right now the whole fan base is in a hangover because what has happened to the team over the last couple of years. It's no wonder everyones attitude is bad. Everybody is fucking pissed off it didn't turn out better than it did. That is reality. Because the team is still being held up to those expectations, which were very high, the fans desire a better performance from the players. Perhaps those expectations are unreasonable. But what kind of expectations should you have if your desire is for your favorite team, to win the NBA finals?
 
I think there is a large group of people that believe his team isn't ready to seriously compete. When things don't change, and Oden can't seem to get on the floor, people are going to be negative.
 
I must say that when I come here, the thought that always crosses my mind lately is "I wonder what everyone is whining about today?"

Bummer, that.

High expectations are fine. Constantly escalating expectations after every good point, so that one always has a reason to bitch, is silly.
