This, by the way, after their blowout loss to the Lakers.

Yeah, we lost. It sucks. I'm not feeling angry about it, though.

No one ever excused his way to success. -Dave Del Dotto

The trade deadline is coming up. If we don't make a deal then this team deserves it's long slide out of playoff contention.

phantom calls took guys like Oden out of the game. When Oden was in, flow of the game was better.

for the blazers to be a GREAT team in the league, Oden needs to be the center of the offense. even if he's not taking the shots, by him posting up it scrambles the D.

The deal, as I know it, is Martell coming back.

the title of this thread is a little deceptive. the cavs without west and ilguaskas had to play a great game to beat the blazers.

Yea, that's a game changer for sure. :sigh:

He's a starter, right? We're still battling Denver for 1st in the Division, right? We've had one of the tougher schedules thus far, right? We're still growing as a team, right?

Rational thought isn't needed right now, ABM! You should know better! Webster is a scrub! So is Oden! And Aldridge! And Roy! TRADE THEM ALL!!! FIRE NATE!!! MAKE PAUL SELL THE TEAM!!!! NUCLEAR MELTDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO, the sky is falling!!!!:ohno::ohno::ohno::ohno:

How about getting out on 3point shooters? The perimeter defense has been lost all season.

Sorry you can't take criticism about how some fans would like to see this team improve. No need to type, just post this image anytime someone hurts your feelings:

On a side note, putting MARIS on ignore was extremely timely. I'm thinking of doing the same.

Yah, I dont mind people having different views of the team, it's when they do that overboard on purpose just to be an ass that bugs me.

The Cavs are 32-8.

It ain't by accident.

Bake it!

repped. This was ridiculous. Oden got two offensive fouls for merely trying to stop Varejao from humping his leg.

Well, Luke would tell him "if you're going to foul a guy, make sure he doesn't score". :devilwink:

They baked it. Wait, no they didn't. They traded for: Mo Williams, Ben Wallace, Wally World and Delonte West. Now they are an elite team.

Yeah Oden should have planted Varejeo on principle alone! If Crazy Hair Sissy boy is going to flop he should really have to pay for it! The other call that yanked me was Oden getting one going for a loose ball with Lebron. Oden had position. Roy got murdered all night and Bayless was given ticky tack fouls that are meant to be nothing but annoying. Hey refs????? We have an allstar tooooooooooooooo!!!!!

Roy is just going to aggravate his injury by trying to be the guy going 1 on 1, and it's not helping us win.

Most star players look to be an assist man and make others better when they're not 100% due to injury.

of course they also didn't have anything to bake.

a better example might have been the celtics trading al jefferson, telfair, and 2 picks for garnett and delonte west, wally, and jeff green for ray allen.

the blazers aren't going to "bake it" just for the sake of baking it. they also aren't going to trade just for the sake of trading. if they can get a deal to improve the team, it will be made. if they can't, they won't. it's as simple as that.

For a very short time frame.

They sacrificed the future to keep LeBron happy short term.
