SWARM satellites show weakening magnetic field and that the field is on the move
SWARM, a new 3 satellite system that was launched late last year that takes measurements of our magnetic field like has never been done before just reported it's first big bulk of data. It shows how the field is changing, getting weaker in some areas, stronger in other areas, but overall getting weaker. Also, it shows that the magnetic north is migrating towards Siberia.
Interesting, it's cool to see, but this is just the initial findings. THis new data will be scoured for more information.
