GO DUCKS!!

The Traeger smoker has been working overtime. Nine people headed over to join my family...will make a house full at 13. Four of the guests are Beav alum. My father-in-law will be here in a few hours...he played ball at OSU. He is vile human-being.

Should be an interesting crowd.

The beer is ice cold and the spicy pulled pork on sourdough, crockpot mac and cheese, homemade potato salad, homemade smoked baked beans (no can BS) and artichoke dip on homemade tortilla chips will be on the outdoor bar in three hours. I even smoked some mild cheese. Slow smoked cheese with beer is amazing. The wife made some tasty salsa and organic guacamole. Friends are bringing green and yellow desserts - pretzels and crackers dipped in chocolate.

The pool is too cold to swim but the two waterfalls are roaring and we installed a green pool light. :) Three Duck flags have been hung. The large framed prints with ticket stubs from over a decade of bowl games have been dusted. The 70 inch with surround sound is rocking. My daughters and wife are rocking their Duck gear. I even dusted my Duck helmets. They look particularly sharp today.

I've done my part. I can do no more. Now the Ducks need to show some heart and leadership.

I took the 23.5 points and be $7 on the Ducks at some old sports betting site I just remembered I had money at.
 
Why can't our defense stop teams running the ball anymore?
 
Alliotti did make some big changes since last week, he's drinking a new brand of water. Metal bottles instead of plastic.
 
Wouldn't it have been better to knock that pass down instead of catching it in the end zone?
 
Ekpre-olomu making a play for his stats rather than the team by picking that instead of batting it down. He's a good college corner, but I don't get all the fuss about him being one of the best in the nation. I thought Cliff Harris was a lot better, but he didn't make it.
 
Punt returners are some of the most frustrating players in football.... I constantly see them make stupid decisions, not just the Ducks but all across college and the NFL.
