"Researchers say the virus appears to mutate very slowly, with only tiny differences between the different strains, and that none of the strains of the virus is more deadly than another."
The story has just turned "non-eventful".

It's very eventful and important to pay attention to.

I have posted lots of good news and humorous things in this threads.
That's just "mouth say". When have you ever said anything good about my mighty brain?

This isn't necessarily bad news. It makes it tougher for a vaccine to actually work, but mutations could make the virus weaker as well.
Im not an expert (obviously), but I was under the impression that usually mutations do make it weaker.

depends on what the mutation is obviously, but this concept of herd immunity is inherently reflective of mutations
Is it true that if you've had the virus and recover you cannot get it again?

Reason why so hard to develop vaccine for HIV and cold is viruses mutate rapidly. And why we need new flu shot every year.

High likelihood but never 100% certain. Fauci said the same

Yup. He also said that the core of the virus hasn’t changed and that the mutations they’ve seen shouldn’t affect vaccine development.
