The DNC wants so desperately to con it's followers the same way the RNC does. The only problem is, they are so poorly run that it just comes off as some super villain from a childrens movie.
If you were to visually compare them, it would be this:

“I am completely dubious of these claims that socialized medicine is wildly popular,” said Jonathan Cowan, president of Third Way. “They never tell people in their polls that it would mean taxes go up significantly and they would not keep their doctor. Try that out. The moment you actually tell people what it is, support collapses.”
Cowan noted that Colorado voters in November soundly defeated a single-payer proposal. “This is a dangerous political fantasy,” he said. “If you believe in single-payer health insurance and don’t care about the consequences, fine. But to argue it is a political winner when it literally has never gotten more than 30% in a ballot measure is wrong.”
Many times ballot measures are defeated but reintroduced and eventually passed. It doesn't mean that it's a bad idea. Sometimes the original measure is just a poor one.
Oregon voters turned down legalizing pot twice before finally passing it.
California voters originally said no to gay marriage.
That doesn't mean that those ideas were dead or should never have been represented to voters.
The road to legalization of marijuana took time for the public polling to be in favor. When the public is in favor, they'll vote in favor.
I don't think California voters every said "yes" to gay marriage. It was ordered by the courts, I do believe.
I quoted a democrat source saying the polls do not support single payer when the person is provided with the costs. It's on topic because it is a source of contention among democrats looking for a positive economic message (the old one got us Trump).
That is trumped up bull. We'd save money with single payer. Your healthcare premium would be eliminated. Stop falling for crap.

It's a democratic think tank telling the truth.
See! The liberal and the conservative always see different images.

Most people can save money buying a used car. Doesn't mean they want it.That is trumped up bull. We'd save money with single payer. Your healthcare premium would be eliminated. Stop falling for crap.
It's simple math.
Oh, I get it. You want it wonderful and free.No monthly premium. Get that through your head.
Do you know anyone who lives overseas and has that type of healthcare? Anyone? My brother does. And again you have no clue.
My healthcare premium is $396 per month. I'd happily trade that $4752 per year to pay an extra $500 in taxes. It's simple math.
I have a question, MarAzul--why do conservatives always smirk?
Right!
I am still waiting for Veterans Choice to schedule me for some tests. Six weeks now, governments ability to deliver necessary services is not simple math.
MarAzul, my man. Take some very cheep advice and shit can the idea that the Choice program is going to be of any benefit. I am still waiting for them to call me.
Do pass go, head into you local VA and get you stuff taken care of.
Oh, I get it. You want it wonderful and free.
I think your right. It is scheduled in Eugene for October. I thought I would give the Choice program a chance to beat it. So far, nothing.
Oh, I get it. You want it wonderful and free.

It seems they rarely do. McCain does but I sure don't consider him a conservative.
See, this is what cracks me up. The guys that want it "Free" A) Have not earned it. B) Have no concept that free equals poor quality.
I've learned that whenever you respond the opinion is an uninformed one so.![]()
Well I sort of feel an obligation to help keep them informed of the great shit they seem like and vote to have. I had great healthcare insurance but Obama offered my provider a free pass if they quit providing the insurance, well even worse, tax them if they don't quit. The idea here was to get guys like me buying insurance so that we could help sweeten the pot for the insurance companies to cover the then uninsured. It didn't raise any revenue, it sort of is like taxing cigarettes to get people to quit. They did and it was legal, we had no grounds to sue.
So I bought the damn insurance but the insurance company dropped me out after the first year. The don't want to do my county. Moda, ever hear of them? So then, after the next year I began to look for another insurance company. Found one. Guess what, could not find a Doctor that would take Medicare and was in plan with this insurance company.
Fuck it! I will just rely on the VA, it is pretty much like what all this guys want. Right! Thought I should let them know about the realities.
Meh..If it is serious, by pass the usual process and sit your ass in the ER
