They don't lose. I've never seen anything like it. 42-8 over their last 50.

They are on an amazing run. And honestly I really don't see ANY team getting in there way.

Not with the starting pitching in a short series. I'm happy for Donny Baseball.

...remember when they were screaming for Donnie's head?...surprise we have not had a visit from that Dodger fan with the leather vest.

The Dodgers team payroll is well above 200M this year. The have 4-5 players making over 20M & 7-8 players making over 15M. Don't be surprised if Robinson Cano is wearing Dodger blue next season.

The Dodgers have become the new Yankees.

They have to win now. They will be in luxury tax hell soon. I don't see them adding another huge contract.

...^^^ this...they are going to be hit with a huge Lux Tax penalty next year...50% I think. ???

...they also need to lock up Kershaw.

With Magic Johnson involved - I had no doubt the Dodgers would do whatever it took to build a winner ASAP. The guy never gets involved with anything just to say he's involved. And seeing Donnie weather the early season storm, and now being in charge of a team steamrolling along...

I had the Orioles/Dodgers in the WS - looks like I might get half of that. Would have been interesting to see Donnie vs. Buck, but the AL is wide open, so I guess we'll see....

Rumor has it though that they will be trying to unload either Kemp or Either. So if they succeed there then I think the'll do it. Remember boys & girls you heard it here first.

Mark McGuire is the hitting coach, batting practice is held in the locker room, OK Boys bend over! It would be an irony for Donnie Baseball, plays for the Yankees sees but one post season. Manages a team that as one time was a National League Rival and gets a ring. I guess the experts pick Nationals won't even be in the playoffs,

giants: fuck the dodgers

dodgers: is that some noise from the basement?

giants: whats that? sorry i cant hear you with a WS ring stuffed in each ear

the end

In regards to the Dodger turn around I will say this. Like no other sport, a 162 game schedule allows for ups and downs, injuries, and if you adjust, or you have the horses, more time than not, the cream rises to the top. It is a marathon. And then in the end, if u don't have 3 good starting pitchers, it's over quickly.

^^^ yup, I seem to remember the Yanx winning it all one year after dropping 12 of their last 15 regular season games. (or something like that)

...I comes down to who is hot at the time. The Cards and Giants have recently taught us that.

A career 260 hitter as the hitting coach. I'll never understand that. Perhaps it just needles me.

^^^ rick, the really strange thing is how many great hitter flamed out as hitting coaches and managers.

Those who can do...those who can't teach. I guess.

hey yankeesince59. thank u. i couldnt get the email authorization to send me confirmation to my email so i tried again and it worked. glad to be posting with you all again.

...I think you'll like it here...good Baseball talk, no disappearing posts...no bannings...easy to navigate.
