In criticizing a New York Times article about President Donald Trump, Press Secretary Sean Spicer says the piece is riddled with falsehoods and that Trump doesn't even own a bathrobe.

such journalism, much wow!

I read from your link the Times is who posted the inaccuracies. I'd start there.

Here is the NYT story -

WASHINGTON — President Trump loves to set the day’s narrative at dawn, but the deeper story of his White House is best told at night.

Aides confer in the dark because they cannot figure out how to operate the light switches in the cabinet room. Visitors conclude their meetings and then wander around, testing doorknobs until finding one that leads to an exit. In a darkened, mostly empty West Wing, Mr. Trump’s provocative chief strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, finishes another 16-hour day planning new lines of attack.

Usually around 6:30 p.m., or sometimes later, Mr. Trump retires upstairs to the residence to recharge, vent and intermittently use Twitter. With his wife, Melania, and young son, Barron, staying in New York, he is almost always by himself, sometimes in the protective presence of his imposing longtime aide and former security chief, Keith Schiller. When Mr. Trump is not watching television in his bathrobe or on his phone reaching out to old campaign hands and advisers, he will sometimes set off to explore the unfamiliar surroundings of his new home.
So Spicer says Trump doesn't watch TV and tweet because he doesn't own a bathrobe.

I wonder if there is anyway to prove that Trump tweets about things he sees on TV and at odd times of the day and night? Hmmm... Where would we find something like that?

Sigh.. read the entire thing please:

"In the ongoing feud between President Trump and The New York Times, America learned Monday that Mr. Trump never wears a bathrobe.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer criticized The Times for publishing an article that, he said, “was so riddled with inaccuracies and lies that they owe the president an apology.”

The story, bearing the online headline “Trump and Staff Rethink Tactics After Stumbles,” portrayed a lonely president and a West Wing in disarray. It said the president “spends his evenings alone sending tweets out into the social media universe, watching television in his bathrobe or walking around the White House, trying to learn the interiors of his new home."

I have read both the NYT article and what Spicer said. To specifically issue a denial that Trump doesn't wear a bathrobe is comically sad.

I take it as that he's in his suit walking around doing what Presidents do and not a bathrobe. /shrug

Yes. I'm sure Trump is in a suit 24hrs a day.

I highly doubt that too, but the media is in the business right now to slander Trump. So I take the article as such and realize they are trying to paint him in this picture of a lonely man, walkin' around the White House by himself in a robe fuming on Twitter or some shit. It's just a bunch of made up shitty journalism. Likely he does what we all do. Goes to his room, takes a shit, showers, shaves, and hits the fucking rack.

His wife and young son are in NY. I think it's safe to say he gets lonely.

I'd have them build me a theater room with a rollup screen with strippers behind it and whatever else I fancied. Why be dicta...errr President if you can't enjoy it?

That's just you giving that asshat Sean Spicer the benefit of the doubt. He's a dumbass just like the man who hired him.

How has an actual picture of Trump in a bathrobe not been posted yet?
