Lots of little rumors and knowledge bombs out there that don't really deserve their own thread.

TRAITOR! Wasn't someone talking about a theoretical where Drexler sold us out the other day?Clyde Drexler helping to recruit Bosh to sign with the Rockets.

After weeks of hearing his name in the trade winds, Tony Parker told a French newspaper he's confident he will remain in San Antonio.
For now.
“I talked with Pop, he told me that I'm not going anywhere,” Parker told L'Equipe earlier this week.
Parker mentioned Portland and New York as two possible trade partners that the Spurs turned down.

A source said Hornets point guard Chris Paul wants out of New Orleans. Hornets general manager Jeff Bower is a candidate to be the GM in New Jersey.
ESPN FWIW says Blazers are going after David Lee.
If I were a betting woman I'd bet ALL the rumors are false.

David Aldridge said the same thing last night on NBAtv. Basically that they were so close last summer, that he thinks something will get done this summer

So, let's see; if we construct a 3-way trade, so we send LaMarcus to a team that needs a proven PF, and that team sends a young blue-chip prospect (probably a SG) to New Orleans, and we sweeten the pot for New Orleans with expirings/picks/rights/bench guys/whatever, and we get Chris Paul; then we replace LaMarcus with Lee, but how do we do that sign-and-trade?
I would do a Camby for a David Lee sign and trade in a NY minute.
Even though he's old Camby would work well in a D'Antoni offense.

Then what? Run Lee and LMA as a mini-twin-towers? That would be a huge downgrade on defense.![]()
LMA isn't that mini, he's as tall as Camby and an inch shorter than Oden.
He doesn't protect the rim like either of those two, though.

You know if being tall is all there was to being good and playing tough D, he would be an all star. But it isn't, and he isn't.
You all realize that David Lee can barely guard a chair right?
You guys know we have Oden and Pryzbilla right?

Thanks, I needed a good chuckle this morning.
