Lots of little rumors and knowledge bombs out there that don't really deserve their own thread.

Forget about parker

Parker Confident He'll Remain With Spurs

Source: Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News

After weeks of hearing his name in the trade winds, Tony Parker told a French newspaper he's confident he will remain in San Antonio.

For now.

“I talked with Pop, he told me that I'm not going anywhere,” Parker told L'Equipe earlier this week.

Parker mentioned Portland and New York as two possible trade partners that the Spurs turned down.

ESPN FWIW says Blazers are going after David Lee.

If I were a betting woman I'd bet ALL the rumors are false.

TRAITOR! Wasn't someone talking about a theoretical where Drexler sold us out the other day?

Drexler Drive at the Rose Quarter, gone!

We should rename it honor of KP.

David Aldridge said the same thing last night on NBAtv. Basically that they were so close last summer, that he thinks something will get done this summer

I would do a Camby for a David Lee sign and trade in a NY minute.

Even though he's old Camby would work well in a D'Antoni offense.

So, let's see; if we construct a 3-way trade, so we send LaMarcus to a team that needs a proven PF, and that team sends a young blue-chip prospect (probably a SG) to New Orleans, and we sweeten the pot for New Orleans with expirings/picks/rights/bench guys/whatever, and we get Chris Paul; then we replace LaMarcus with Lee, but how do we do that sign-and-trade?

Paul, Roy, Batum, Lee and Oden

Ain't going to happen but I just got wood thinking about it.

Then what? Run Lee and LMA as a mini-twin-towers? That would be a huge downgrade on defense. :dunno:

He doesn't protect the rim like either of those two, though.

All LMA needs is for the Blazers to hire Barry Bonds to be his personal trainer. He has the physical gifts, he just needs a little of the clear and cream to get the 'roid rage goin'.

LMA isn't that mini, he's as tall as Camby and an inch shorter than Oden.

You know if being tall is all there was to being good and playing tough D, he would be an all star. But it isn't, and he isn't.

You all realize that David Lee can barely guard a chair right?

Timberwolves agree to 4 year deal with Darko Milicic

ESPN’s Chad Ford is reporting that the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed on a four year, $20 million deal with Darko Milicic.

I don't get the Lee love at all. But here's hoping he goes to the Suns to replace Amare.

@travisdemers Chris Paul's agent Lance Young wouldn't comment on report that he asked for a trade when I spoke with him this morning

nice
