A couple of things...
This is a sports forum. This is a not a great place to discuss politics. That doesn't mean that we don't have good discussions but this will never be as good as forums whose main purpose is politics.
These next couple of days could be rough here. Very emotional, very heated.
My goal is to get this community of passionate Blazer fans through this week intact.
I need your help to do that.
If you see something that you feel is racist, insulting, or rude please flag the post. If that doesn't get you a response then PM me. (Please remember that sometimes you will not get an instant reply. I have seen people get upset that staff didn't get back to you within moments of your PM or flagging of the post.)
What I don't want you to do is start insulting the person you're upset with. Just flag the post and move on. Some of you really limit the actions we can do as staff here. Someone posts an insult, you insult them back, then you get upset that we aren't doing anything against the person who posted the original insult. What you don't understand is that if we take action against one of you, we would have take take action against both of you.
For the next few days I'm going to tighten up the moderation in the OT section.
What that means is if you post insulting or racist crap in a thread you're going to get banned out of that thread. If you get banned out of 3 threads you're going to be banned for 3 days.
Please, be kind to one another.
