Along with signs for 'no smoking' or 'no littering,' commuters in Madrid will soon see a new unfamiliar one: No manspreading.

The transit agency in the Spanish city said it will post the signs on all buses asking men to keep to one seat and one seat only.
Manspreading, in case you didn't know, is when men spread their legs with no regard to others' personal space.

I might disagree with you on almost everything, I'll agree with you on this. As someone who has spent 11 years or so getting around Portland via public transportation, I have seen waaaaaaaay more girls take up extra seats with their purses, bags, shopping bags, etc. It's the worst when there is a full bus and you have to stand because a woman or a man doesn't give a shit about respecting others. I've had it happen with both sexes, but it has happened much more often with women. I call them transit assholes and they come in every shape and form.
