So yeah, it IS early in the season, but one thing is for sure: you never know how the Nets will play in the next game. They could be playing like future champs, or they just look like a underachieving team.I just don't get that we've beaten the Jazz ( a great offensive team), lose to the Heat (again), win against the Wizards (also a great offensive team) and then get our asses kicked by the Sonics. Yes, we did get our asses kicked. I mean, sometimes it looks like the Nets can defend, like they did vs Utah, but then against the Sonics, man, that was painful. Luke Ridnour getting a career high in points, Wilcox dunking like a mad man, and what about Miami? Udonis Haslem got his career high against the Nets. Let's state the obvious: the interior defense is a concern. Krstic is a good center, but he will never be a great defender. Collins, well, is just Collins. We all know what he can do, we all know what he can't do. He's not a "stat" guy, but he's a pretty good defensive player. One problem: he doesn't block shots. None of the Nets big men do. And to be honest: Cliff Robinson is a great guy, but I really think he's on his last legs. Sure he can play, but maybe it's time for someone else. And although he's a rookie, I hope that when Josh Boone gets healthy, he will provide some defense, blocking some shots.Another thing: as far as I know Hassan Adams should be a pretty good defender, but since there had to be someone who would be the "odd man out", it seems Adams is that particular guy. Makes me think: when Eddie House comes back in two or three weeks, will he play? If so, will coach Frank go ten deep? (he now goes nine deep, with Williams, Bokie, Uncle Cliffy and Wright), or wil House not get any playing time? I really wonder what goes on in Frank's head right now. He needs to deal with a lot of things, also with RJ being injured.....
