fyi- it doesn't mention it in the documentary but many religious scholars today believe jesus went to india to study buddhism. the bulk of the gospels deal with jesus establishing his ministry which i believe is at 31, so there are a whole bunch of years missing. one of the proofs given to buttress the theory is the presence of the golden rule in christianity which is quintessential buddhist dogma.
