So umm... how exactly does that work? That guy is supposed to be John Connor's father. The timeline doesn't make any sense.

I watched it last night, went in with no expectations, just wanting to forget about the Duck game.

And it was great! Neat reboot to the franchise. Can't wait for the sequel.

8/10

How did you watch it? Netflix?

I still say it was better than Fury Road.

The expectations may have clouded my judgement. Everyone raved about Mad Max and said Terminator sucked. I thought the opposite.

I really liked Fury Road but the hype for it was way over the top. I also don't agree with all the hate Terminator got, while it wasn't as good as the original or T2, it was definitely a lot of fun and much better than Rise of the Machines and Salvation.

I saw both in 3d Dfx at the same theater. The hype is what did me in. I liked the cars and it was constant action but I just didn't feel it. I don't know, had to be the hype.

The timeline stuff didn't bother me in Terminator, I just remember Bruce Willis dismissing the discussion about paradoxes in Looper. A really unappreciated movie IMO.

I finally watched it and it was pretty decent, much better than the trailer made it out to be.

Whatever happened to original scripts? Hollywood Studios REALLY don't want to pay residuals to screenwriters do they .... those DVD sales bring out the spoiled fat kid in them. Well. At least you can't get rid of episodic television, ha ha!
