The Trail Blazers will take on Minnesota tomorrow at the Thomas & Mack Center in the team’s final Summer League game. Tip-off is at 7:30 PM.

I'm assuming the real Blazer guys won't play much. This game will probably feature a lot of the Jacksons/Lauderdales on our roster.

I hope not. The roster guys need A LOT of work.

Not sure how much work you will get out of some of those guys who are playing 4 games in 4 nights. (6 games in 7 nights) I wouldn't play CJ much.

If we are not going to play him much then I would rather we don't play him at all.

Haynes on twitter said none of the starters (mccollum, barton, crabbe??, trob, or leonard) would play in this game.

According to Casey's Blog:

Portland will complete their summer league schedule Friday with a consolation bracket contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves, though the starters, after playing their third game in as many nights, are not expected to play.

Now I don't even know if I'm gonna watch this game.
Who am I kidding? It's still Blazers basketball, so I feel compelled to watch it.

OK. The boys are tired. No sense risking injury I guess. C.J. hasn't played in a real game before Summer League for 7 months I'm told, so I guess I'll write off his lackadaisical play as fatigue. Hopefully they will watch some film with the coaches and go into training camp knowing what to work on.

And yeah, I don't see myself making a special effort to watch a game featuring the second and third string of the worst team in Summer League.

Now watch, the scrubs, scrubs will win the game. ;)

Has reality set in yet, guys? We're not going to win the SL championship, better get some more young players next year and writethe regular season off to compete in next year's SL.

I would like to see Crabbe featured more. The dude has been a ghost.

so whos in?

i wanna see freeland go for 30 and 15

and crabz light it up with at least 25 shots

I show it as on nba tv sat 9am. I assume that is eastern time. What about the time you listed? Eastern as well? Is it on ESPN3?

Just look it up and that is 7:30pm local and it is on Espn3.com.

It's Scrubville. Not worth watching on ESPN3, IMO. Only Crabbe will be on the team next year as far as the starting line-up.

This is awful.

I shut down my link after watching for a minute. I guess the point of the final game is to let the guys who have no shot, yet have practiced, get some PT. That actually kind of sucks for the teams advancing in the 'playoffs', since it increases the risk of injury.

Plus, Phoenix's team averages 43 years of age, so I also worry about their Achilles'.

Put in Crabbe, damn it

Terrell Harris looks almost decent

Not a bad game so for. Competitive. Wish they would stop showing them talking.

Maybe playing his way into a Euro league? He's not going to make Portland's roster this year, especially with the LMA 'situation'. Olshey wants that rosters spot open in case of a trade.

Lol. Barton just had to put up a shot, even if it was after the halftime buzzer and he was still in his warmups.
