Am I crazy to want Bama and FSU to win? I want to play those teams. If Bama and FSU both lost, who would be in the playoff?

Oregon
TCU
Baylor
???

Who would be in the 4th spot if Ohio State lost today as well? Michigan State? Wouldn't that be funny?

Wisconsin maybe?

I'm torn between wanting Alabama to get torched so that the SEC is left out, and wanting to see them get crushed by an "inferior" team in the playoff. You know that if Alabama loses today it'll be an "asterisk" championship b/c "only an SEC team can beat an SEC team" (forget last year, I guess)

I want Alabama to lose because Mizzou is awful, it would be hilarious.

Plus, when FSU loses, it'll be fun to see all of the flip-flopping from the clowns (like Mike and Mike on ESPN) who say "FSU HAS to be #1 and in the playoff b/c 13-0!!!!111! When the entire goal of the committee is to get the 4 best teams in. There's no way a rational football watcher can state that FSU is #1 b/c "undefeated". FSU would be an underdog to about the top 7 teams in the poll. Bama? UO? TCU? Maybe favorite against a 3rd-string QB Ohio ST (which is why I'm not sure they get in, either). Up until last night, I don't know that I would trust FSU against Arizona.

If tOSU beats Wisconsin and gets in, we would most likely get that matchup and I think we would crush them.

I don't see how they could go all the way from 13th to the top four by beating an OSU team without their QB. I'm thinking Georgia Tech would have a better shot.

Georgia Tech is the team, you're probably right.

There is a darkhorse though, Ole Miss.

I want tOSU to win and I want Gordon to get like 50 yards. I'm tired of hearing this bullshit from the analysts.

Ole Miss is 9-3. There's no way they'd get in. The candidates for the 4th spot if FSU/Bama/tOSU all lose:

Michigan State
Georgia Tech

I don't see Kansas State getting in because I don't see any way the Big 12 gets three teams in. That would just be ridiculous. Hell, the committee might just move Bama to 4th and still keep them in. Most of the other teams are 2 loss teams anyway.

I hate to say it, but if FSU/Bama/tOSU all lose Bama's #4. Tech's lost twice (to Duke and UNC). If they beat FSU, I still think FSU's ahead of them, but out of the top 4. No way a 2-loss MSU team gets in over a 2-loss Bama team. I'm not even totally sure that if Bama loses close (and OSU wins) that it's not 2-loss Bama over 1-loss OSU.

Look at their resume... They beat Boise State (MWC Champs), Memphis (C-USA Champs), Alabama and Miss State. They barely lost to LSU and Auburn. The Arkansas game... Well, I didn't watch but 30-0 is bad.

They just needed to make this a 6 team playoff....and give the 1 and 2 seeds byes.

That's just so much football though man. I don't know if they would do that. I honestly hate conference championships. It's an extra game that I don't think is necessary.

But I think they'd put in Bama before they'd put in a 9-3 team.

Warrick didn't win b/c of shoplifting suspensions. I think Des Howard was.

Woodson played offense like JJ Watt plays offense.

Edit: Looked it up, 5 rushes and 12 receptions his Heisman season. 3 TDs, though.

Huh, I totally thought Warrick had won one.

It's so hard for a receiver to win because I think there's the assumption that a WR needs a good QB, which is silly because a RB and QB need a good O line.

It's hard to believe guys like troy Smith and Jason white were the best college players at one point...

Lol I forgot about mark ingrams Heisman... That belonged to Suh.
