Yup this is the official Lupe Fiasco thread.He deserves one seeing how he's the best thing out right now in Hip hop. (Other than Nas).Food and Liquor suppost to drop sometime in September, I heard the advance, it's gunna be dope etc etc.Peace

well since i don't like lupe i'm obviously gonna think they are better so what does it matter??? i listen to southern rap. but i can give props to ppl that are good that ain't southern so don't think i'm being bias, but from what i heard out of him he is complete garbage

First of all Lupe Fiasco is a pretty good rapper.Second,lefty you are getting kind of carried away like you said Lupe was better than game and equal to Kanye West...cmon.But I do agree that Lupe is very lyrical and all you guys are acting like "kick Push" is the only song he has f*cking made. Lupe has alot of good songs and I was a fan of his before he came out with his food and liquor album.Also,koopa your taste in hip hop isnt that great I remember you saying that your favorite rappers of all time were t.i. chammillionaire and bone thugs or something like that lol but of course you are entitled to your opinion and I respect that.
 
koopa isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but whatever. Lupe is pretty good. I liked him on the Fort Minor/Green Lantern mixtape, that's all I've really heard of him. He's pretty good, in my opinion.
 
well that all time favorite thread wasn't really my all time favorites. i couldn't think of who to put so i just named a dude (t.i.) cause a lot of y'all are young and dickriders and i figured i see this dude all the time on tv so i guess i'll name him..........i just like southern rap and bone thugs, i've been listening to cham before he even signed his deal so of course i'm gonna name him as my favorite. and bone thugs i've been listening to since i was about 12 cause of my cousin so of course i'm gonna name them. but over all i hate rap.and so far everything i've heard from chi-town has been trash, kayne sucks, twista sucks, and so does this new kick push dude. and again that's my opinion which doesn't make me stupid, so go F*ck yourself justice.
 
Alright. I'll admit Lupe Fiasco is a pretty good rapper but he's not the best out there. T.I,The Game,Nas,Yung Joc,Young Jeezy,Kanye West,Lil Wayne, and Papoose are all better but Lupe isn't terrible... I just really didn't understand why he wrote Kick,Push...I hope this guy doesn't skateboard because that song would have been alright if he had changed the theme of the song and it wasn't dedicated to skaters.

it obvious that these guys havent heard any of his mixtapes or his leak. wtf? some of yall give absolutely no respect to Lupe.Hes a great rapper and probably part of the future of rap. His songs are different than many other rappers and the songs actually talk about something. Hes not talkin bout sh*t like "bouncin and shoulder leanin" and all this other crap. (Im from the south too, so i should know) Hes actually telling a story in a way and its good for hip hop and rap in general to have a fresh face to help it go in the right direction. Yung Joc?!?! his CD sucked ass, that sh*t was pure trash. no good subject matter whatsoever to actually make you want to listen to it. he was just telling a story and comparing life to skateboarding. thats the way i understood it.

alright i just downloaded several of his songs, and i'll upgrade him from garbage to pretty good..........but that kick push song is total garbage.....he should've put out a better single and i probably would've took him more serious cause i don't take skaters serious cause most of them are all punks
