The more I read nbadraft.net, the more I'm convinced they don't know shit. They have Harrison Barnes going #2 to Charlotte. No way.
What an interesting observation. Thank you for sharing it.

Kidding, right? RIGHT???
We traded for the 6th pick..... just like we traded for the 6th pick this year.
Yes, the Blazers used the 6th pick on Martell Webster. Another team didn't pick Webster, and then trade him to Portland.
As I was saying, troll.
Actually, we traded for the 7th pick as well. It was part of the Sebastian Telfair trade. So it was a trade from a trade.
That doesn't matter and is completely beside the point. The Blazers had that #6 pick in that draft and drafted in that position. How they received the #6 pick is irrelevant.
Bird was drafted as a 'junior-eligible' player, which is no longer possible.
Also, the last time the Blazers had the #6 pick ... Martell Webster.![]()
Yes, but they also got the #6 player the next year (trading their #7 pick), and that was Brandon Roy. So...
Brandon Roy.
The Blazers had the 7th pick, not the 6th.

Did you se the article about NBA executives thinking the draft is rigged? Might be in the locked or deleted threads (BBF here we go again)
BTW- does it count if you predict more than one team is going to win the lottery?

Slow your role, captain!
We're calling him chief now. I think he's more of a chief than a captain.
You said that the last player we selected at #6 was Martell Webster. Someone mentioned that we drafted Roy at #6 and you said that didn't count because we traded for him. That's a silly stance because we traded for the 6th pick to draft Webster AND we traded for the 7th pick which we eventually flipped for the 6th pick which was Roy. The point is, none of those picks were ours originally. They were all acquired in trade. That's why you are wrong.
I'm not sure why you're confused. Portland had the 6th pick in the 2005 draft and selected Martell Webster. They had a 7th pick in the 2006 drafted, drafted Randy Foye, and then traded him to Minnesota, who drafted Roy at #6. It doesn't matter in my scenario how the draft position was determined; it matters which player the Blazers drafted, and at which spot. The last time the BLAZERS drafted 6th, they chose Martell Webster. That's a fact.
Good luck on the job interview. Hopefully there aren't many questions pertaining to deductive reasoning, troll.

Always making things personal.![]()
The Blazers had the 3rd pick in the 2005 draft. They traded it to Utah for the 6th pick. The point is, you're trying to discount Roy because he was officially taken by the Timberwolves and then traded to us. Who cares what hat he put on after he walked across the stage? The point was that Minny was picking for us, making the the pick ours. He was traded that day to us. You didn't take any issue with Crand mentioning Bonzi Wells on her list and he was drafted by the Pistons and then traded to us.
I'm not "discounting" Roy. I'm pointing out that the Blazers didn't have the 6th pick, and that when Roy's name was called, it was by Minnesota.
I also don't care about Bonzi Wells. I was mentioning the 6th pick. Thanks for your concern though, troll.
He's been in a bad mood lately. I'm thinking it has something to do with the wife.

That's Jack Black son!

That's what I thought at first too, but now I'm not so sure![]()
Ironic that someone with no sense of humor would put Jack Black as their avatar.
Is that you in your avatar?
HAHAHAHA! It would be like me having political figure or a CNN anchor as my avatar!

Yes, I look exactly like Jack Black in a Duck jersey.
