What's so bad about it? Have you really looked at names around the league? The Heat......Thunder.......Knickerbockers.....Jazz......Magic......Raptors.....Nuggets......Clippers...... I could go on if you want me to. That name and logo aren't that bad!

Nice logo. Pelicans are a distinctive name for Louisiana (I think the bird is on the state flag).

Bullsharks was another option they were considering. I don't know what that is, but it sounds more badass. But you can easily imagine the headlines..."New Orleans Rolls Out a BS Team".
