They continue to be asses in dealing with the Mark Buerhle contract situation. Buerhle gave them a discount of 4 years, 56 million. In return, he asked for a no-trade clause. The White Sox said no. Then he asked for a limited no-trade clause. He'd have it the first year of the deal, and then for the next 1 1/2 years, he wouldn't, and then he'd get it again when he would receive the 10-5 veto. Sox wouldn't budge. Later, Buerhle's camp went back, gave up the no-trade clause, same 4/56 deal, but in return, add a player option for 2012 worth $17M if he is traded. Sox still said no. They need to realize, they can't have it both ways. They either pay the going rate, or realize, he's giving a discount and in return, give him the trade protection. Buerhle has bent over backwards here, and the White Sox are being stubborn. They're looking for a smear campaign so they can blast him when he leaves. See you in hell suckers. Here's to the White Sox continuing to suck. :beerbang2:
