Do your colleagues know your shirking your research for arguing in a sports forum OT section? I don't want to tell you guys how to do your jobs, but maybe take your highly educated and informed analyses back to the lab...

I'm doing it to attract hot alien biatchs who might be lurking in the forum.

I have a Bachelors of Science in Physics for Oregon State University.

WE NEED TO START NEW THREADS ABOUT COFFEE BREWING TECHNIQUES, VIDEO GAMES AND SPANKING THE MONKEY

I'm actually a biochemist, or that's what my degree is in. :MARIS61:

We need to start a new thread on whether Eastoff has been on Viper more times than me.

~~I don't know what Viper means... do I win or lose?~~

edit: I just looked for a picture of a roller coaster to represent the Blazer's season.

I did something on Olestra, that fat substitute that came out a while back. Also about the mechanism of Folic Acid.

I've been looking for your expertise! In your community college P.E. class, what did they tell you about Folic Acid overdose?

True story: I already had a bottle of Costco NatureMade Super B-Complex (includes 400 mcg 100% of daily Folic Acid). I bought Costco NatureMade Folic Acid with DHA (600 mcg 150% of daily Folic Acid). I looked on the internet and saw warnings not to take 1000 mcg per day. So my shiny new bottle of Folic Acid wastes away, fast approaching its expiration date in less than a year.

If I gave it to charity, the bum would sell the pills for booze. I've been wishing and hoping that a Folic Acid expert would cross my path. Is it safe to take both pills each day? Please answer soon.

If you really want to know about biology and biological chemistry, take 5 puffs of DMT and see me in 15 minutes....

Yes. You need to take B12 though but you're getting it in the complex

Just got word that we'll be published in Cancer Biology & Therapy. (I didn't write it, I'm just an author since my hands did the actual experiments). Not quite an evolutionary biology journal, but also not Playboy. Although, I might prefer it be Playboy if I had my druthers.

Thanks. A mixed opinion of 1000 mcg is typical...

A different site says…

Supplements may reduce the risk of colon cancer (however it is possible that very high dosages, over 1,000 mcg a day, could increase the risk for colon cancer) and perhaps reduce cognitive decline. Folic acid is one of the vitamins that lower blood levels of homocysteine, which in turn is a thought to be a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases.

Yeah, it was a while ago, don't remember it all. I focused on the biochemistry for the most part, I have the paper somewhere in my archives I believe.

Deal. But only if S2's resident popes and preachers take their sermons back to the pulpit.

;)
