Kind of like the person that reported that then-Governor Bush called Adam Clymer--a New York Times Reporter--"a major league asshole"?

These people are human. Even His Holiness, St. Barack.
 
I think it's funny. Honestly, if Obama can give the Queen of England an iPod, why can't he call Kanye a jackass?
 
BTW, I just heard the audio for the first time. My respect for President Obama just increased. He was just having a conversation and was 100% correct.
 
I have had little to no respect for what our President has tried to do in office so far, but my opinion just went up one notch. Now he is at notch #1. Way to go Mr President.

Hopefully when the White house releases a statement regarding this, they will simply state that President Obama stands by what he said, and that Kanye West is a jackass for his actions at the VMA's. If he tries to backtrack, then my opinion goes back down. Just state how you feel. More people will respect him for it.

The prez is certainly entitled to his opinion and this was supposed to be off the record. This reporter is toast.
 
It's Terry Moran. He'll be just fine. If it were a small-time reporter, I'd agree, but this is a long-time reporter with ABC. Also, if Terry Moran goes, then Jake Tapper gets promoted, and that's the last thing the Obama Administration wants.
 
Obama is going to have Kanye @ the white house and roll a blunt with him and sip on some Henny.

No doubt. Tapper is the only "balanced" reporter who covers the White House, with 90% being on the left, and 10% on the right. Tapper goes after everyone, regardless of party. He's the only person in the White House media corps that I have any respect for at this point.
