1.You actually need to get some blocking on punt returns so you can have a chance at returning the ball.2.Michael Vick isn't the fastest player in the game yet he can outrun Carolina's free safety's,CB's,and LB's. ?????????????????????Ill add more as I find them or think of them....feel free to add to the list.
 
For the Vick thing, a players speed depends on their bodyweight. Just because Santana Moss is 97 speed doesn't mean he isn't as fast as Randy Moss because Santana is smaller and lighter, thus making the 97 speed equivalant to a taller and a little heavier wideout with 99 speed. That's why Mike Vick is so damn fast, because of how light he is. If Clinton Portis was lighter with his 96 speed or whatever, he would be just as fast as guys like the Mosses.Realistically, Vick is that damn fast, it's undeniable.

The punt return stuff with the blocks IS terrible though. They really need to fix that.
 
It's horrible that Mike Vick is overall 94. HE CANNOT THROW AT ALL!!!!!! He should be overall like, 78-84.
 
I see where you are coming from Jhair but let me explain myself.I have two men spying him to start off the game...both olb's. He will scramble side to side everytime evading both men and luring my safety's and corners out of their zones leaving the reciever wide but nothing but open field in front of him.Then I start to notice that he is scrambling to the right everytime so I move my fastest guys over to the right and leave one on the left.No spying here.Simple cover 3's cover 2;s you know,the works.Well he evades those two.I blitz my corners,he runs up the middle.(Which is something Vick cant do) I get to him,and he breaks a tackle and then a big run.And im sitting here like WTF,there no way to stop this guy.Ive tried every defense possible,even punt block, and he STILL manages to escpae EVERY one of my defenders.And when he throws to those recievers im like,ok yeah he does have a cannon in real life but then he sends crumpler down the field throws up a hail mary on 4th and 14 right on the money to Crumpler.There is another one of my complaints lol.First of all,not taking anything away from Alge but he isnt the fastest TE in the leauge and Vick's long ball sucks.Well thats my rant,I see where you were coming from though lol.It is possible for Vick to break a big run but not every play,especially when I know what side he is going to be running on ahead of time.
 
Nah Vick has a cannon but he isn't very accurate. What pisses me off is when I put all the guys in the box and then he throws it over all of their heads to like Michael Jenkins and for a TD, he is kinda unrealistically unstoppable.
 
I agree on the punt returns. The players just go and stand by your returner, they dont even try to block. Every time I recieve a punt I have to fair catch it.
 
yeah thats stupid. Anytime I want to return, how the hell my guys aren't blocking but they can in kick returns. Hopefully EA Sports will have this fixed.

Like i aint tring to be a jackass.. but it aint all that hard.. all i do.. is go nickle 3-3-5 Cover 2 or cover 3, when he's in a passing formation.. spread my lineman.. but make them rushin inside., you have two options now.. u can take ur LE and just back up a few yards and when he hike's the ball, fallow vick around w/o rushing in.. just like spy him.. never rush in cauz he will out run you.. you have a LB or CB to help you on the otuside because cover 2 and 3 woprk that way.. .. so .. yeah how the hell can u not stop vick? i love playng falcons.. cauz they think they can run and lose yards.. and they sure as hell can't throw..i'm just sayng.. vick is stopabable.. and its not all that difficult.Another thing madden needs to fix.. the damn QB sneak.. ..it works 95% of the time.. in inches situation.. in a bit longerr its stopabable.. but its till unrealistic.They need to fix how TE's go over everyone and just catch the ball.. thats stopable too.. but sometimes its just like wtf..

I pinch the linebackers togeather, Then I move the one defensive tackle in so hes playing almost a nose tackle role, and bring my safety up to the LOS where the NT was so im almost playing a formation with 3 DT's. I would say this one works probably close to 50% of the time(which is alot better then the normal 5%). The only problem with this idea is once your opponent catches on to it he will probably use a toss play the next time and get around you (Well, thats assuming he is as good at playing the mind games as I am

my lil secret.. I do FB dive... then Qb sneak.. and when its crunch time.. I use Toss, and it works.. all the time..

Im sorry European Star but it looks to me as if you hav never played Madden 2006 online.Its MUCH more fast paced than a regular game.I barely have time to shift my line before he snaps the ball.Sometimes I dont even get to do that.So yeah,Vick is unstoppable on that game.Ever wanna play me online and I get the Falcons ill show you exactly what Im talking about and I guarentee you I will score on every drive.

I only play online, and if you know what your doing, it would only take you about 3-4 seconds to set up your defense how he says, which is plenty of time even if they rush to the LOS.All he said is Spread your D-line, then stunt them to the inside once the play starts, manually control the LE, and drop him back about 4 yards, then once the play starts, spy Vick with the DE.When I play against Vick, all I usually do is manually spy him with a speedy LB. Yeah, he will break a couple runs, but you can keep him down to 30-40 yards with enough practice.
 
They need to update online rosters more frequently, and the Redskins are VERY under-rated. Chris Cooley is too slow and has bad hands, Joe Salave'a is one of the worst DT's in the game when realistically I think he should be in the med/high 80's, Santana Moss is in the high 80's when he should be in the high 90's... and so on. They need to get their sh!t straight.
 
I'd like to see them have half time show like ESPN 2K5 . Show big plays of the half. Have someone talk about hot at the half players, do scoring highlights, show the replays, make it more interesting then jus playing the game, make it so we can make half time adjustments back in the locker room, make every game feel like a real nfl game.

Moss should be about a 93Salave'a should be about an 83Thats just my opinion though.
 
European Star,no offense but since you came here youve been an asshole to everybody.Now if you wanna play me in Madden go buy you a 360 and look me up online.I GUARENTEE you that you wont stop Vick.Im willing to put my life on it.

After saying you'd be able to play games online with Xbox Live Silver....I found out yesterday when my 1 month free Gold ended that I can't play online games. I need Gold...so now more money has to come out of my damn pocket.

lol.. i'm always an asshole.. and iv been here for a long time, sorry bout that.. i just tend to say stupid shit sometimes.. but i'm telling you.. vick is stopable honestly.. iv done it so many times.. you just have to be smart when using ur deffense, dont overkload one side cauz he'll just run to the other.. dont blitz cauz he will outrun ur blitz..

If you look, his throwing power is 92 (realistic) yet his accuracy is lower than most of the QB's in the game. Yes, even the third stringers. And his awareness is slightly below average.What I want to see in Madden 2007 is just better graphics and their faces to improve. All the players look-alike in the game.

Another thing I forgot that they need to fix:make it so they can spell out Roethlisberger's whole last name instead of having it be "Roethlisbergr"
 
how about when they do comebacks, especialy w/ the titans.. people just throw it up, and the defenders go for the pick instead of knockdown, and since their shorter.. they can't get it.. it pisses me off..

one handed catches would be hot. the high passes are cheesey. theyre sometimes unstoppable. i agree with the punt thing. we should be able to return it alot. cramming the line should be taken out.
 
I put a spy on Micheal Vick with Safety Thomas Davis from Carolina and Will Witherspoon on the other side I rush my front four and collapse the pocket forcing Vick to throw
 
you know waht I would really love.. if they put in names.. or at leats the right nubmers on all time teams.. I understand.. on every year team they have u dont have to.. but all time it wouild be aweosme.. u could just edit the real names in then.. now you can barely reconize whos who.. well sure lefty QB on 49ers.. and QB for dolphins.. but like theres so much more.. I would love if they put at least right numbers in.. Ithink it be a much more used feature and teams..
