Things to do Thanksgiving Weekend in PDX

yeah, one of my classmates is a city council member there in West Linn.

I should've know from a previous conversation we had about attending church and Catholicism. A lot of my family and friends have attended Jesuit and Lasalle.

we probably know the same peeps. its weird that way though. Portland is so small.

I did most of my walking BTW in downtown. Just easier. Went down Thanksgiving day, did a walk, stopped in for some Stumptown and walked along the waterfront. Lots of homeless around.

Hit up Podnahs and Pok Pok, other than that, just chilled and grabbed casual lunches/coffee with friends, etc. Its good to come back. Don't know if I can live there, the pace of life is way too slow.

Tell me about it. I run into people I know all the time. My wife is from SoCal and Chicago and had barely been in Portland when we met. She still meets people that recognize her married last name and it creeps her out.

I am a big fan of Pok Pok. Bomb-diggity. We've been eating a lot of Asian food of late, and we get to Pok Pok whenever we're in the area.

Yeah, there are a lot of homeless around. It doesn't seem to be getting any better, either.

well they were giving food away in Chinatown for turkey day. Seemed really creepy and sketchy in parts at times.

I went to these hipster areas like alberta/williams/hawthorne/etc....during the week. dead as fuck and looked pretty meh. Also no hot chicks just walking around and hanging out that much. Something that's always good in LA. Girls are younger which was good but weird.

It was cool driving around town though, going up to Mount Tabor and shit like that. I'd like to do more. I really wanted to hit up the coast but when I'm at my parent's house I get lazy as fuck to do anything for some reason. I slept alot, tried to get out but got tired, even with some jolts of coffee. Something about the weather in PDX makes me really lazy.

plus living in LA, you kind of live in fantasyland. Was talking with my friends who were married about this in Portland actually. we just kind of fuck around for years and years.

I was 3. You guys are all old

I'm 31 and still get ID'd for cigars 50% of the time, booze every time. I'm okay with that.
