4 years ago today, Captain Clutch aka Mr. November joined the 3000 hit club... what a classy guy! 5 hits on the day he got to 3000 hits and did so via the HR... making him the only player ever to do both in the game they got to 3000 hits... the only other players to hit a HR as #3000 (Wade Boggs & A-Rod) - both were Yankees... and 2 of the 3 did it while Yankees... He was also 1 of 2 players to get 5 hits the game he joined the 3000 hit club... the other... Craig Biggio... I'm sure you guys all knew this already... but...
