With tonight's game rained out the YES network is showing the 1976 game 5 between the Yankees & Royals. (The Chambliss HR game).

They just showed Craig Nettles up & his shin guard looked liked a square piece of styrofoam (forgive the spelling) strapped to his leg. And all I could think of was, "DAMN! we've come a long way".

AWESOME.....we haven't been able to get the YES channel in 4 years now. Not since dish tv sued DirecTv, over MLB Extra Innings, which wound up in court. Final verdict, MLB Xtra Innings could still be offered. Altho' a judge ruled, DirecTv had to limit the stations and games to a mere 8 per day. No more of every single Teams games and or Home Channels....shucks... I don't miss my MTV, I miss my YES TV....!
