Starting Tuesday, August 30th, 2011, the Trail Blazers will begin a new trivia contest through our social media channels. Stay tuned for the trivia questions every Tuesday (on Twitter) and Thursday (on Facebook) for your chance to win a $10 off coupon towards a $25 purchase at the Trail Blazers Fan Shop! Participants must reside in Oregon or SW Washington to be eligible for prizes, but all fans worldwide are encouraged to guess the correct answer. All trivia questions & answers will relate to Trail Blazers' history and legends from the period before the turn of the century. One entry per question, per person. I enjoy trivia contests, especially Blazers but considering that we may not have a season or at least a full season this seems rather underwhelming to me.

I like the way they have a $25 minimum. They can't just let you buy a $10 trinket for free. It's almost Fall--they must be trying to downsize the T-shirt inventory.

As for only allowing people in Oregon & SW WA winning, I bet it has to do with NBA marketing rules and regulations. The Bucks are doing a similar promotion and winners there have to be within a 75 mile radius.
