4 lines playing great hockey

Everyone finishing their checks

Hank playing great hockey but not facing many great scoring chances

The right guys playing the right amount of minutes (Holden and Staal true 3rd pairing)

Relentless depth

Punishing Karlsson (who is not physical) on every shift

This team is battle tested. All those playoff games are starting to pay off. They are strong because they are deep not because anyone is dominant. And they have figured out how to pass hriugh the Ottawa trap.

There is blood in the water. Ottawa has some good pieces but they don't understand playoff hockey. This team does.

Rangers in 6

Well said Disturbed. Certainly helps that we are playing an average Ottawa team, but no doubt we raised our level the past two games. Now we have to go up to Ottawa and keep it rolling while winning game 5.

and here i thought after Gm 2 that the series was over :dunno:

I also think we got a HUGE scheduling break in this series.

Brutal horrific loss on Saturday blowing 3 2 goal leads can lead to hangover effect in series. But we got an extra day off by playing G3 on Tuesday....and got momentum back and now back to playing every other day.

And now we play on Sat with 1 day off. You can bet Ottawa would prob like an extra day after getting utterly dominated in 2 games at MSG

I have a feeling we're going to see Chris Neil dress tomorrow.

Head on a swivel McDonagh.

Now that they've 'mastered' winning on home ice hopefully they can get back to getting it done on the road. I'm sure that place will be louder throughout the game than during the first two.

I really hope Ottawa goes that route. It will do nothing to help them.

Why would you want them to go that route? It may not help them but it sure as hell could hurt us. Literally. The narrative in all the Ottawa papers is that we're taking liberties with Karlsson. McDonagh could easily be targeted.

The Prust/Stepan situation was a direct result of us taking Price out. Prust even said as much in his Players Tribune piece. Our guys need to be aware given the mood in the Ottawa room (according to the reports) and how game 4 ended. And given the choice I don't want Neil out there running around like a maniac.

can't help think if glass was in for entire series, we're up 3-1, but no dwelling on what is out of our control, 2 more, 1 game at a time.. keep up the intensity and it should not be a problem..

go rangers

Wow..i think Edmonton just outdid us giving up 3g in 3 minutes to go to OT.

Edmonton just took a crown for the worst choke in the playoffs so far from the rangers.

A shame for Talbot since it was a 60 shot onslaught. Getzlaf is playing out of his mind at this point.
