The refs did fine. The linesmen were a complete joke and the NHL shouldn't allow them on ANY ice ever again. AV really should say something about it. That, or the Rangers should do the EXACT same thing in game 5 and if the linesmen say anything, just tell the refs to shut the fuck up and drop the god damn puck.

I don't see how they allow it. The puck isn't supposed to be dropped until the visiting team puts their stick on the ice. The Rangers should've never lowered a stick.

They tried several times to not put their sticks down, but the linesmen dropped it anyway.
