dumb. Sarah Huckabee Sanders already used that ploy.
Should I spend 4+ mins of my life watching that or should I spend my time elsewhere.
I trust your judgement here Cup.
I would pass.
No Sir! and why do you always have to be so damn disrespectful. I've never said anything you've posted was dumb, even though I may disagree with some of your positions and/or comments. On the contrary Ive supported you as a poster for a long time.dumb. Sarah Huckabee Sanders already used that ploy.
dviss1, its not that big a deal just a formula.Should I spend 4+ mins of my life watching that or should I spend my time elsewhere.

Whatever.
Its simple an economy of scale.
Then tell me why it is dumb?
I would bet Paul Allen would agree with it ether totally or somewhat.
I would bet Phil Knight would also.
It doesn't have to be a political thing at all?
How do you think the Blazers establish tickets prices to cover cost of doing business, including wages for ALL employees, including players.
Do you the Dame would agree to take the same amount to play as a role player? Of course not, he's a more valuable asset/capital and if an organization doesn't want to pay make value for a player like him, what usually happens?
I live in a community where I have to pay a home owners assoc. annual fee. If I don't like it I could move elsewhere.
The point is whatever we do in life there is cost of some sort tied to it, and someone has to pay for it.
Im all for social assistance, but at the same time free loaders shoult'nt curse the very ones that assist.
I used to have a bunch of ball team buddies that we would go fishing or out to play darts or pool. A couple guys never had the money but we all pitched in an wanted them to be a part of our group. The problem is they never would offer to pay any thing, always I'm broke, then they would show in a new truck, or go to high cost concert. It got old and they were just freeloaders always looking to work a system. Nice guys but freeloaders and we used to give them shit about it all the time. Never made a diff.
How about when someone pays a good amount for a concert, so the cost of the workers and performers our paid and a profit is taken? How do you feel about that?
Like Jim Carrey said "liberals should embarrass socialism and not apologize for" as he cry all the way to the back and pays an accountant to save him taxes where he can.
What kind of system do you think works best?
To be honest Im a believer in a flat tax.
dviss1, its not that big a deal just a formula.
Id be interested in your idea of a tax system, sincerely?
CupIt was dumb because it is an overly simplistic and not exactly realistic depiction of economics. I didn't say you were dumb, but instead was referring to your video. There was no disrespect intended to you and I apologize if you feel it was.
Thanks for your response to my question. I appreciate it!I believe in a progressive tax system. It's not hard. It's the same one that helped our economy become a powerhouse.
Bring back the tax brackets of the 1950's.

A flat tax is a harsh burden for the lower and middle classes. This is why I oppose the sales tax and the über wealthy love it. How would it affect me? I'd make out like a bandit but I wouldn't find it to be fair. Thanks for your response to my question. I appreciate it!
I’m not opposed to a progressive tax system as long as spending is controlled and it doesn’t finance huge government. I realize that social services andilatry need to be financed but keep it in check.
I like flat tax where everyone pays the same and do away with all deductions.
I would be opposed to a higher rate for a higher income whatever that would be.
For everyone to pay proportion to income seems fair!
That might be a little extreme. I wouldn't mind seeing something from the Kennedy era.I believe in a progressive tax system. It's not hard. It's the same one that helped our economy become a powerhouse.

you could have a lower, pay nothing bracket similar to now and a higher bracket for very high income earners. Do away with deductions and everyone pays a proportion and I would bet the government would generate more tax revenue.A flat tax is a harsh burden for the lower and middle classes. Instead of paying a much higher fed tax per check they would get a bunch more net per check. And there would be a lower bracket that didn't pay any as now.So lower income families wouldn't get the refunds they count on.
who's SHS?Thank you kind sir.
If SHS is espousing this opinion I'll just consider the source.
who's SHS?
What people need to realize is that no matter how you structure the tax brackets, income tax is never going to get to “fairness” in taxing the extremely wealthy. They simply don’t make taxable income the same way that we wage slaves do. This IRS study is a bit dense on the statistics, but informative:

That can and should be changed BACK to the way it used to be. These Reagan esque just became popular in the 80's.
They sucked then and are worse for the economy now.
Some expenses benefit society. Should they be taxed? I'm talking about charitable deductions such as church, United Way, Boy Scouts, Good Will and other charities.you could have a lower, pay nothing bracket similar to now and a higher bracket for very high income earners. Maybe there could be certain charitable & business deductions, but the main thing would be to lower everyone tax burden and even ZERO for limited incomes, by generating more overall tax by taking away all the deductions/loop holes? It could be progressive too. Some expenses benefit society. Should they be taxed? I'm talking about charitable deductions such as church, United Way, Boy Scouts, Good Will and other charities.
Another thing to be considered is that some businesses are short sighted and if you don't allow them to deduct for certain business expenses such as upgrading, new equipment, research and other investments, also including employee benefits, employee wages, depreciation. What about expenses for new government regulations?
We give to our church and don't even deduct it. This way it's strictly from our hearts.Maybe there could be certain charitable & business deductions, but the main thing would be to lower everyone tax burden and even ZERO for limited incomes, by generating more overall tax by taking away all the deductions/loop holes? I would continue to tythe and support WW's even if I didn't get the deductions, if my annual net tax was lower by a flat rate.
This part of my point to. The American people have always been good at giving and if we went to a flat tax of some sort and do away with loopholes, certain deductions and lower the rate per fam/income people would still give.We give to our church and don't even deduct it. This way it's strictly from our hearts.
I'm afraid that most people deduct their church contributions as they should. But it would be nice to see them give the same amount from the heart. This part of my point to.
