meh, trade everyone and build through the draft.

My buddy in NY loves watching our team, thinks they are fun to watch, and especially compared to the over-hyped, overpaid, ball-hogging boring NY teams.

You and Shooter are good buds?

NBATV is coining our little winning streak "Rip City Renaissance"

I do agree that we need to prove it against some better competition.

I'm super proud of LA and Nic. They have both come to play so far this season. No dogging to thus point

Nic said Boston Garden was the only arena he hadn't won in but in fact, he hadn't won in the Barclays Center. Until tonight. Go Blazers.

And I don't buy the idea that we won't be able to beat good teams. We beat SA handily. We at their only loss. I we can beat them, we can beat anyone.

I don't buy it either. When you can put 4 shooters around Aldridge at crunch time who can defend/rebound decently it's going to be hard to deal with, and that is when games are won.

And even if we struggle with good/great teams, as long as we keep beating the bad teams, that will push us into the playoffs.

I laughed at this post.

the year the mavs won the title some say the blazers would of won it all if they've beaten the mavs that year in the 1st round.

Who thought that? I don't know anyone who thought that?

While it's true Portland has played a soft-ish schedule, it's not like the Wolves have played a hard schedule either.
They have played OKC (at home) and GS (at home, and lost), but have played "powerhouses" like Cleveland (at home W, @Cleveland L), Orlando, @Denver (and lost), @ the Lakers (lost) and Boston (at home).

Understand that Portland might be getting a little more publicity than they deserve, but it's not like it's at the expense of the Wolves.

Their SOS is (according to ESPN) .498, Portland is .493.

The difference is they've played crappy teams on the road and lost to them (Den and Cleveland).

It's too soon to tell with either team, to be honest.

Quick Question for the stats guys:
Has any team EVER started the season 9-2 and not made the playoffs did didn't have significant injuries?

I'm going to go MM for a moment, here, and say that regardless if this has not yet happened, there's always a first time (except in the case of some of you nerds here on this board).

I made a post a while ago about the month of November. 85% of the teams that had 70% wins in November all made the playoffs in the last 3 years. I had to do my own investigating, clicking each playoff team and adding up their WIN/LOSS for November. I don't have time to do it again.
