Thorn Had Heart Scare Last Month

<small>September 30, 2008, 7:11 am</small> Peter Vecsey discloses that Rod Thorn suffered a bout of heart arrhythmia last month while undergoing knee replacement. “It was jumping all over my chest!” said Thorn, describing how his heart started beating wildly. “Damn right I was nervous.” The 67-year-old Thorn’s heart is fine, his doctors say, but they’re uncertain what caused the problem. He’s still rehabbing the knee.
