<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Rod Thorn has liked a lot of what he has been seeing lately from the Nets, but doesn’t necessarily believe the team has cured what ailed it in the 10-15 start of the season. Moreover, the Nets’ President noted that with a six-game West Coast trip and a lot of tough teams looming, the job will get tougher. And of course, he isn’t saying what he will do if things don’t work out.

It is hard to say. Sure they've been doing better lately, but you just can't get the feeling that they're going to be "okay" for the long run. And even if they have turned a corner, it's still going to be hard to get past Detroit and/or Boston with this team as it is.

(not related, but thumbs up on Julia Bond)

They did turn a corner, but their still behind some of the top teams. Against Boston, they proved to be a worthy matchup...through 3 quarters? That's not going to get it done.
