<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>In a wide-ranging talk with beat reporters, Rod Thorn said a lot of things: he'd be "comfortable"? in having Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson return if he could find better pieces to put around them; Kiki Vandeweghe is staying; so is Lawrence Frank; the Nets will try to move up in the draft by combining picks; the Nets desperately need tough defenders in the paint; and Boki Nachbar may get better offers.</div>

I'm okay with Frank Staying. And I like Kiki staying. And I'm glad with Boki's getting better offers elsewhere. But both Vince and Richard back makes me wanna

don't worry; all he's doing is signalling to other teams that it won't be a fire sale. I think Richard is gone for no other reason than he has lost his commitment to defense. statistically, rj had a very solid year, and rod won't give him away for expiring contracts and a pick.

I hope you're right. I'm okay with Vince, but keeping RJ would suck. Even though I'd like to get rid of both (which doesn't seem likely).

complete bullshit, he knows as well as anyone that rj needs to go. if we have both rj and vc next year, expect a .500 season at best. that means less wins, less fans, less money... and we all know ratner is going to pull out whatever remaining hair he has if he loses more money
