Thorn on Isiah's contract renewal

The obligatory reaction to Isiah Thomas's contract extension: "I think he's done a hell of a job this year," Rod Thorn said, "and I think it's well deserved."

When it was suggested that Thorn himself should take some credit -- given that it wouldn't have happened had the Nets not been so awful this season and left the Knicks in the dust as they usually do -- Thorn replied, "No comment."

Well I have to say the Knicks have improved so you have to give some credit to him. However like MrJ said, I don't understand why they have gave him a multi-year contract. Maybe a one year extension to see how things play out.
