I remember him first calling games for the supersonics. Boy, did he have a voice and a passion for the game. So knowledgeable. Such a consummate professional.

When Mike Barrett was let go, I hoped we would nab a quality broadcaster. We scored very high with this gentleman. His basketball IQ is very high and he's fairly witty also. Ha.

The only person I like more than him is Kevin Harlan, but I think that was a longshot!
