I got this message on my google+ account but I thought it might be fun to reminisce, discuss and add to them each week. If it catches on so be it, if not oh well ...

Fuck. I remember watching that live. That was rad. I loved Walt Williams.

I loved that team, and I loved the excitement that was in the crowds during those games.

Plus, I loved Eddie Doucette

That's similar to the boner causing dunks that Griffin does now, and yet I don't think Rasheed got the credit for stuff like that, that he deserved.

Eddie Doucette was great.

Pete Pranica was fucking horrible.

That team was so much fun to watch.

Yeah they were. Our bench was so deep back then. I loved watch guys like Walt and Jim Jackson and other semi-stars that would start on most teams come off our bench. It's why I love the Mo Williams acquisition. If McCollum and T-Rob and some other players step up, we could have a deep lineup that's a lot of fun to watch, up and down, albeit not as deep as some of our teams from the late-90's, early-2000's.

If only Canzano would die in a painful fire so that Bob Whitsitt would arise from the hellish embers as our savior.

I sometimes feel like Olshey is a poor man's Whitsitt (even though Allen is not poor), but he's more open to speaking in public.

I still remember watching that Sheed alley-oop as a teenager and just going nuts in my living room...couldn't believed he was able to finish that dunk so cleanly.

I remember watching Pippen hit that shot in the dorm at OSU - we went nuts!

In my dorm room in Cleveland, screaming my ass off with my roommates watching my computer screen with me. I was on the forum back then and my broke ass stream was so far behind everyone else's that I knew something amazing had happened based on the reactions. I've seen this shot and the one he hit prior (as well as Yao's turnaround with Roy fouling him) at least a thousand times.

My Ex Wife... (Damn has it been that long) had seen it before I did and I had it at home recorded. She did really good not to tell me the outcome of the game even though she said it was hard as shit not to. When it got to that point in the game I remember it was pretty intense. Brandon Roy Made Artest touch the floor SHATTERING his ankles on a 15 footer and I thought the game was in hand. Ironically it was Roy who fouled Yao on the very next play sending him to the line for the 3 point play. After Yao made the free throw. I looked at the clock. .08..... I was thinking.. that's enough for a catch and shoot but there's no way that Yao shouldn't be out on the perimeter to contest. Then this happened:

I ran through the whole house yelling and screaming and jumping up and down.

Opposing teams: Don't EVER give a healthy Roy a home game on National Television. EVER.

Throwback Thursday sometimes makes me depressed.
