"A lot people make jokes about whatever, stat-padding or going to get rebounds," Westbrook said in an answer largely unrelated to the question that was asked. "If people could get 20 rebounds every night, they would. If people could get 15 rebounds, they would. People that's talking or saying whatever they need to say, they should try doing it and see how hard it is...."

You know what's even harder?

Winning. If people could win every night, they would.

We'll see tonight. They're playing Memphis and he needs 16 rebounds iirc.

I wonder how many minutes he will play? It would be funny if they rest the starters except for him, so he can get his numbers.

Of course it's hard to get all of those boards. I mean, it takes constant work convincing your big men to jump out of the way so you can grab rebounds.

As if it’s not obvious enough, this fucking guy goes out on a night where he needs 16 boards to average a triple double and has 18 with 4 minutes to go in the 3rd but go figure has only attempted 5 shots. Come on. Dude should of never been mvp. Triple doubles are the most overrated stat ever and this night proves it. He’s a stat padder. Very talented but I wouldn’t put him above dame ever. Not even a top 3 pg. what a fucking joke

*shrugs* good for Westbrick.
He prolly knows he'll never win a ring with the way he plays right now.
So his championship is setting records.
Good for him.

It must suck to be his teammate. Look at how awesome Oladipo was once he got away from this guy. A total joke. Soon to be swept out of playoffs.

Don't forget how much Harden thrived as soon as he got away from Westbrook. The guy is all about his own stats. Talented, but so selfish and misguided. I've been saying it for almost 7 years: he makes his team good, but prevents them from being great.

Long live Hero Ball in OKC. They will never be a serious threat to win a championship with that inefficient, stat-padding chucker running their offense.
