RHP - Ivan Nova (4-3, 4.41 ERA)

VS.

RHP - Jhoulys Chacin (2-3, 4.50 ERA)

Lineups to follow........

Jhoulys: say who??? Julias Caesar or Orange Julius....??? I get it- (secret writing, when played backwards says)- "every team needs their own Julian Javier....

btw- "Gimme' more Al Leiter", no different than "give me more cowbell, I gotta' have more cowbell"....

I gotta' have more Al Leiter- actually, I've been watching these games on Fox Sports West, but did enjoy his analysis/critique of the assclown over rated (from day one) ... Jered Fkng Weaver, Jeff's lil' bro'; who can't pitch his way out of a box, or onto a LL Team...

every time we hear Leiter critique, its our cue for: "we gotta' have more cowbell..."

Parmelee: more likely beginners luck more than the 2nd coming of any of the great Yankee First Baseman but he's made some timely contributions in the last two games, Beltran: he must be the 2nd coming of somethin, man has been kicking some huge butt lately

^^^Beltran will be a very valuable trade chip, not only because he's been hot but also because of his post season reputation.

Damn it! Parmelee done.

Back to Refsnyder.
Didn't like the idea of Joe The Genius pinch hitting for him the other day with Hicks.
If Ref is a "good" hitter as I suspect, then he should hit when he gets playing time.
Can they just leave him on 1b until he becomes a butcher or doesn't hit?

Either way it looks like Swisher will finally end up getting brought up.

That injury did not look good. Feel bad for the kid.

Thanks, caught it on the ESPN side messages. Fuck Swisher play Ref at 1st. Bad gig for Parmelee the guy was doing well.

...when was the last time this team swept a 4 game series?

Just recently from the A's.

Yanks sure needed every single game from these two 4game sweeps.

I'm just keeping my equipment close by and hoping they can be 5-7 games better than Baltimore & Boston over the next couple of months.

Rose colored pinstriped glasses?
Pom Poms?

what a game.

Parm tears his hammy, of fkn shit, did not look good.

  • Beltran en fuego rojo.
  • McCann continues to drive to the opposite field, with authority.
  • wtf-? The little Capt Smurf goes 3 for 4, wowee.
  • Headley gets dos doubles, and doesn't even make the highlight news, lmao...

Trout batting .344, .437 OBP; with a 1.125 OPS in YS, in 16 games. The Yanx must get Trout in due proper time....bring the home boy back, another Trashman fk up for Tex...~~!!!

...the first 46 games of the season should be a good barometer........no no no , the 20 games after that will be the biggest test,......no no no, the next 2 months will be even more important....yadda yadda yadda.

At this point if you're 6.5 back of only one team you've gat a shot unfortunately the is group has to pass 3 East Division Teams with losing records against two. At present I'd still predict no playoffs but the could really be a division spoiler. Good trade potential with several players that could get nice returns with Cashman as deal breaker I have some serious doubts.

^^^yup, beating up on the Angels and Twins is all well and good, but those are teams you expect to beat and the Yanx have yet to show they can beat the teams they are chasing...they are 6-15 vs the O's, Jays, and Sox.

Looking at the pitching match ups tonight the streak SHOULD continue against the Tigers.

Just saw video on Swisher, wants back on the team so bad he can taste it. Still using that val girl vocabulary, says he wants to reignite the bleacher creatures in the same manner as his former time. Damn Nick, the Yankees called Refsnyder and Parmalee that should tell you something. His Scranton team mates say he has a great attitude and tries but the slash line just isn't there. In addition Swisher still has two bad knees himself. Nice try Nick, one consolation though, you're still getting that 15 mil owed by Cleveland Atlanta.

thru' 46 games in Scranton, Nick is batting only .238/.266/.339

pathetic for AAA, and he thinks he can still play on the big stage...meh- stick a fork in him...
