I'll tell you this much. We're witnessing why you don't make a knee jerk reaction and take Robinson out of the closer spot.
 
Sure. But the next time he gets hurt, he may not have a spot to return to.

As for Whitley, he has made an excellent case for himself as a starter, and not another arm in the pen. Phelps should go to the long relieve role.

Phelps blows. I can do without seeing his stupid face.
 
...Phelps is a band aid, nothing more. He's a temporary replacement for an injured starter...but I can understand why some expect more from him.

I've really been impressed with Whitley & now with Pineda being out until August I think (hope) that he can continue being a solid starter.
