Yeah I agree CWebb4. You have a lot of work to do if you really wanna become a good sig maker. Work on the texts because I'm not a fan of those. Try doing some brushing to get better.

Yes, I am new. I have been steadily improving from my first to my last sig. Now, text has been the #1 criticism of my work. What changes do you guys suggest? I feel the text in #3 really fits the sig. And when you say I should try brushing more, are you referring to the text, or my BG?Another problem, is I am using Fireworks 8. Fireworks doesn't have a "brush". Would getting Photoshop be worth it for the use of the brushes?

I'm still in my 30 day trial, and I'm going to try PS next and then decide which one I want.

Photoshop isnt the most idiot-proof program in the world, but its worth learning. The kinds of things you can do with photoshop are far superior to that then almost any other graphics program.

I use Gimp. And have gotten pretty good with it I think.
