Can someone explain to me why the FUCK Tim Tebow is such a celebrity? He's always been a borderline NFL player, and I remember a period in time when he was featured on every god damn ESPN show for like 6 months straight. Now he's in the news again.

Handsome, white, evangelical, conservative - the kind of guy some in the media and some sports agents thought would be a good "hero". Trouble is he can't play (well, he can, but not at NFL level).

It's getting hard to say he's being "persecuted" for his faith, although some still try.
