Why not? Robinson and Duncan and Avery made it work. Sure, they had Bowen for a couple (iirc). But they weren't the Bad Boy Pistons or the mid-90's Knicks. They didn't have guys with Jordan's mindset.

What's wrong with that, and why couldn't it happen again? Most said a team as young as ours couldn't make the playoffs. How are you extrapolating that a team of generally nice guys with talent couldn't win like the Spurs did ever again?

Everybody here knows we need a banger. We also know that more than likely we will get said banger off of the waiver wire as teams cut down their rosters, or we will trade for one that is about to be cut. The point is we do not need one to pay $4.5 mil plus to. He will only be playing 10-12 minutes behind Aldridge. Nothing we bring in to play the sparse minutes they will be getting here will be worth trading an asset such as Outlaw, Webster or Bayless. I look forward to your next master of the obvious post with no solutions offered.
